We usually complete a ring resizing within the same-day or next day.  Often while-you-wait services from our ring resizing jewelers on staff. In some cases it may need additional time.

There can be a lot of stress on the ring when performing more than two sizes increase or decrease to your ring. So typically only 2 sizes at most.

To resize your ring smaller, we trim out a piece of the band and then solder it back on around the ring in a perfect circle.   We polish and clean the ring and it will look exactly the same, but now sized down perfectly to your size.

To resize your ring larger, we solder additional metal on to size the ring up.  If you only need a half a size increase, we can often stretch out the metal of your ring. We then clean and polish the ring to look exactly the same, but now resized up to fit you.
